Description: Damage to the ship's starboard quarter, resulting from a Japanese aerial torpedo hit received off Formosa on 16 October 1944. Photographed in a floating drydock at Ulithi Atoll, circa November 1944. The upper part of the torpedo hole had been partially patched when this view was made.
