Description: Photographic scrapbooks from CDR Frank R. Decker's service in French Morocco between 1942-1945. Photographs show street scenes and sailors in Algeria, Rabat, Tangiers, Casablanca, Marseilles, Rome. Additional photos show the scuttled French fleet at Toulon that was scuttled in 1942. Additional photos show life in Morocco and many photos of the celebrations after Germany's surrender in 1945 and Bastille Day that same year. The collection also has pre-printed photographs of various cities upon liberation from German forces during WWII. Decker's love of golf is shown through the many photos of golf courses in Morocco.
