Description: (AG-31) In San Francisco Bay, California, between late 1945 and mid-1946. The ship may be concluding a voyage bringing servicemen home from the Western Pacific as part of Operation Magic Carpet. The gun tub on the forecastle was added in 1942 for 20mm anti-aircraft guns.
