SS JUSTICIA British Passenger Ship, 1917-19
The British troop transport JUSTICIA sinking on 19 July 1918 20 miles from Skerryvore, Ireland, with a loss of 10 lives after being torpedoed. JUSTICIA was launched in 1914 as the Dutch STATENDAM but was taken by the British government and allocated to Cunard to replace LUSITANIA. Operated by White Star Line at the time of her loss.
