Title: Tourville
Description: (French Heavy Cruiser, 1926) At Casablanca, Morocco circa August-November 1943. She has three aircraft on board: a Loire 130 flying boat on the catapult between her after stack and her mainmast, and two Laté 298 floatplanes stowed between the stacks. USS Cossatot (AO-77) is immediately beyond Tourville. A colonial sloop (either La Grandiere or Savorgnan de Brazza is partially visible in the left distance. The ship beyond the sloop may be the destroyer Albatros, damaged during the U.S. landings at Casablanca on 8 November 1942. The original print came from the Office of Naval Intelligence.
