Muscle, acargo steamer also referred to as Cerro Gordo, was built at Allegheny, Pa., in 1856. She was captured early in February 1862 at Chickasaw, north of Eastport, Miss., by USS Conestoga, Lexington, and Tyler. While being towed to Cerro Gordo, Tenn., with a load of kindling she sprang a leak and sank in the Tennessee River.
