Caption: This insignia, adopted in 1966, utilizes a blue field with two white stars to represent the VOGE's namesake, the late Rear Admiral Richard G. Voge, USN. The trident combines the traditional symbol of sea power with a stylization of the computer logic circuit, indicative of the computerized ASW system installed in VOGE. The orbiting electrons represent the ship's extensive electronic installations. Photographed in 1968.
