Caption: Rear Admiral Richard H. Cruzen, USN, left, who in 1946 commanded the largest force of Naval ships ever to enter the Antarctic (Operation High Jump) called upon Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, USN, in the federal office building in San Francisco, 22 October 1948. Admiral Cruzen showed the fleet admiral a film of this voyage entitled "The Secret Land".
