Description: (U.S. auxiliary schooner, 1900) Probably photographed at about the time she was taken over for Naval Service. She was taken over by the Navy on 19 September 1917 and commissioned the next day as USS Louise # 2 (SP-1230). On 14 January 1919 she was decommissioned and returned to her owner, the Boston Pilots Relief Society. She was also referred to as Louise and Pilot Boat # 2.
