Description: 24 photographs taken by Alfred C. Lewerenz during his Navy service at Mare Island Navy Yard between 1907 and 1910. Lewerenz was in charge of construction of Dry Dock #2 following collapse of former attempts to construct Coffer Dam. Six additional photos show construction photos of Puget Sound Navy Yard in 1903 and the SS Umatilla docked there.
