Former name retained.

Corinthia (No. 938), a motorboat free leased to the Navy in 1917, was commissioned on 14 May of that year, Lieutenant (junior grade) P. Herndon, USNRF, in command, and attached to the 8th Naval District where she conducted patrols along the coasts of Texas and Louisiana throughout World War I. On 6 December 1918 she was decommissioned and returned to her owner.
