1918-1919

The Navy retained the name carried by this vessel at the time of her acquisition.

(Barge: displacement 690; length 100.5'; beam 23'; draft 10'5")

Bertell W. King, a non-self-propelled barge built at Perth Amboy, N. J., in 1901, was inspected by the Navy in the Third Naval District on 28 June 1918 and, after being assigned the identification number (Id.
