This view, taken from a hill near Flushing, features Pendennis Castle in the center. The shipping at the harbor mouth represents HM ships FLORA and ARETHUSA, Commodore John Borlase Warren, entering the port with a number of prizes, which had probably been taken in 1794-1795 in the Bay of Biscay.
