Patrol #4 (S. P. 8)

Patrol #4, a motor boat built by Britt Bros., Lynn, Mass. in 1915, was commissioned 18 April 1917 and formally leased by the Navy from Guy Norman, Newport News, 21 April 1917.

Patrol #4 operated out of the 2nd Naval District, headquartered at Newport, on patrol throughout World War I. After war-time service and decommissioning, she was returned to her owner 17 March 1919.
