From August to November 2010, U.S. Marines assigned to the Twenty-Sixth Marine Expeditionary Unit used CH-53H Super Stallion helicopters to transport more than 3.9 million pounds of World Food Program flood relief supplies to 150 locations in southern Pakistan.   Marine Corps CH-46E Sea Knight helicopters from Marine Medicum Helicopter Squadron (HMM) also assisted in the relief operations.

Munter visited Pano Aquil to see first-hand the Pakistan and U.S. military flood relief efforts conducted in Sindh Province, Pakistan, as well as to participate in a humanitarian mission bringing relief supplies to flood victims.
