Volunteers

The National Museum of the United States Navy Needs You!

Looking for a way to join the Navy community? Have a passion for museums or history? The National Museum of the United States Navy is seeking volunteers!

Volunteer opportunities include visitor interaction, docent, and honor flights. This is a great opportunity to engage with visitors and give them a memorable and exciting experience. Volunteers provide essential services to the Navy Museum by providing valuable information to our visitors about the exhibitions, activities, services, and more. If you have experience with this, and you're looking for a volunteer role that allows you to meet people from across the Navy and around the world, this is for you!

Scheduling is flexible: half days, full days, special events.

Please contact Volunteer Coordinator David Barker at david.barker@navy.mil or 202-685-0589 if you are interested in joining the team!
