The Forgotten Wars of the 19th Century

 

This section houses artwork, lithographs, and other mediums, on the Quasi-War with France (1798-1801), the Barbary Wars (1801-1805), the War of 1812 (1812-1815), and the Mexican American War (1846-1848).

 

The National Museum of the U.S. Navy has artifacts on display within The Forgotten Wars of the 19th Century permanent exhibit in Building 76.
