U.S. Navy Response to the 1923 Kanto Earthquake in Japan

This pamphlet discusses the aid provided by the United States Navy to Japan following the Great Kanto Earthquake on September 1, 1923.   From the U.S. Naval Hospital at Yokohma, Japan, to the twenty U.S. Navy ships in the area, the assistance also given by the Red Cross, enabled the country to recover from this disaster.
