80-G-179003:  USS Pope (DD 225) under attack from gunfire from IJN Myoko and Ashigara, air attacks, and scuttling charges during evacuation of Java, 28 February 1942.  She later sank on 1 March.  Photograph originally from a Japanese propaganda booklet Victory on the March.  U.S. Navy photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.   (7/24/2013).
