111-SC-27262: Lieutenant General W.B. Smith, Chief of Staff, SHAEF, affixes his signature to the Unconditional Surrender document on behalf of the Allied High Command after it had been signed by the representatives of the German government sitting across the table from him at SHAEF, Reims, France.
