This section details Allied Convoys in the Atlantic Ocean during World War II.     Topics include Operation Drumbeat (Paukenschlag); Arctic, North, and South Atlantic Convoys; the Gulf Sea Frontier; activities in the Caribbean and off the Panama Canal Entrance; and the variety of ships utilized for military for transport service.
