80-G-495636:   Occupation of Japan, 1945.   Gazing into the sky at roaring American Naval and Army aircraft.   This Japanese boy used a “Rising Sun” plane as his perch to get a better view.  Downed in a battle with a U.S. plane, this represents the might and aspirations of the once-arrogant Japanese, now fallen.  Photographed released September 17, 1945.
