U.S. Navy Nurses from USS Haven (AH-12) wait at the railroad station Nagasaki, Kyushu, Japan, for the first liberated Prisoners of War to arrive from Koyagi Island Prison Camp.  In the background is the customs house.  Photographed by crew of USS Chenango (CVE-28), September 13, 1945.  Official U.S. Navy photograph, now in the collection of the National Archives.
