U.S. officers and troops discuss last minute details of their job in the invasion aboard a Coast Guard manned combat transport sailing for the Italian mainland.  Coast Guardsmen manning landing craft received careful instruction as to the nature of the beaches and the whole attack is worked out to the last coordinated detail by Army, Navy, and Coast Guard officers.
