26-G-2313: Normandy Invasion, June 1944.A Handful of the Millions of Yank Invaders.  On board a Coast Guard manned assault transport, the decks are jammed with American fighting men, who swept across the English Channel in overpowering force to establish a strong beachhead on the coast of Normandy.  These troops are shown at a moment of relaxation during the intensive final invasion maneuvers somewhere off Britain’s coast, June 1944.
