040516-N-9909C-001:  Blue Angels Maneuvers:  Scissors-Cross.  F/A-18 Hornet.   The lead and opposing solo pilots assigned to the U.S. Navy's flight demonstration team, the "Blue Angels," perform a close scissors-cross maneuver in front of the crowds at the 2004 Joint Service Open House, May 16, 2004. The "Blue Angels" fly the F/A-18A Hornet as they perform approximately 30 maneuvers during the aerial demonstration, which runs approximately an hour and 15 minutes. The Open House, held on May 14-16th at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland., showcased civilian and military aircraft from the Nation's armed forces.
