Submarine service is voluntary. What makes a Sailor choose the Submarine Force? Submariners cite many reasons, from the strong comradery and the community’s elite reputation, to small crew sizes and the increased responsibilities and challenges of submarine work. Five SSBN submariners explain why they chose submarines in this video.
