Volunteer Opportunities

volunteer

Volunteers are an integral part of the U.S. Naval Undersea Museum’s day to day operations. The majority of volunteers work at the museum’s front desk, serving as the main public contact by meeting and greeting visitors and providing general information on the museum, or operate the museum’s store. A small, select number of volunteers work with staff to catalog and research artifacts.

Beyond providing invaluable service to the museum, volunteers receive several additional benefits, including a discount in the museum’s store, access to behind-the-scenes tours, attendance at two volunteer appreciation events each year, and tours of area military facilities and museums.
