Save the date for the Hampton Roads Naval Museum’s annual LEGO Shipbuilding event! This event will be held on Saturday, February 3, and is completely FREE of charge to attend. This is the first year our event will be expanding to a completely new venue, at the Virginia Beach Sports Center at 1045 19th Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 (right next to the convention center). Join us throughout the day as we: use STEM-based design plans to build ships from the keel up in our shipyard of 200+ dry docks; participate in hands-on robotics demonstrations; view professional LEGO display models; participate in crafts and other fun LEGO-related activities! All entries for the LEGO Shipbuilding competition must be on-site and registered before 2pm on February 3. Winners will be announced at 3:30pm.
