In this short video, retired Navy divers Master Diver Jason Brustad, Commander Darlene Iskra, and Chief Engineman Norm Haas explain what it is like to wear and work in different diving suits. Chief Engineman Haas was a Mark V diver during the Vietnam War, Commander Iskra was one of the Navy's first female deep sea divers, and Master Diver Brustad recently retired as the master diver at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard/Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Collectively, their experiences and careers cover each kind of diving suit featured in the exhibit.
