The U.S. Naval Undersea Museum’s annual community event, Discover E Day, is back for 2023!
Hosted Saturday, April 1, the event is great for curious K-12 students and lifelong learners alike. The intent is to engage children with their caregivers in active learning and exploration; and to inspire creative thinking and problem solving.
More than a dozen unique activities, demonstrations, and experiments will be available throughout the museum, with professional educators and engineers to engage in conversation. New this year, we will have activities outside to take advantage of the spring weather. The activities themselves explore light and sound waves; hydraulics; robotics, and more!
The program runs from 10am to 2pm April 1 on a drop-in basis. Participants may arrive any time during the event hours. We hope you can join us for this fun learning event!
