Caption: The Soviet Freighter ARCOS docked at San Francisco, California, about 1943. Built in the U.K. as WAR JAVELIN, she became PINEWIN in 1919 and ARCOS in 1922. After the war she returned to the coastal trades for which designed. Not reported after 1955, through probably in local Soviet service for some time afterwards.
