Caption: The ANGHYRA docked at San Francisco, California, in 1942 or 1943. The ANGHYRA burned off Mexico in September 1943 and was reconditioned as S.S. SPARTAN. In 1950 she became HUBER HUBERT SCHROEDER, one of the first ships under W. German Flag. As such she was wrecked in 1955 off Klaipeda.
