Title: ADMIRAL CHARNER (French Colonial Sloop, 1932-1945).
Caption: Ship's wreck photographed in the Mekong River at My Tho, South Vietnam, in May 1967. She had been scuttled there on 10 March 1945 during the Japanese takeover of French Indochina. Taken by Don S. Montgomery, who was then serving in U.S. Navy Boat PBR-131. He states that Japanese salvors partially dismantled the wreck during the following summer.
