Caption: ADMIRAL CHARNER (French Colonial Sloop, 1932-1945). Ship's wreck photographed in the Mekong River, at My Tho, South Vietnam, circa February-March 1967. She had been scuttled there on March 10, 1945, during the Japanese takeover of French Indochina. Taken by Don S. Montgomery, who was then serving in U.S. Navy Boat PBR-131.
