Title: Avro Lancaster III
Caption: Royal air force heavy bomber of World War II (Serial EE 182) 1944. The Lancaster III was a modification of the original Lancaster I, fitted with Packard (U.S.) built rolls-Royce Merlin Liquid-cooled engines and incorporating other minor changes including an improved bombardier's position. Armed with two .303 caliber dorsal and nose turrets and a quadruple .303 turret in the tail, the Lancaster could carry seven tons of bomber of this period. British night-bombers finish consists of flat black sides and under surfaces with dark green and earth camouflage on upper surfaces.
