Description: Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for USS Saratoga (CV-3). This plan, approved by Captain Logan McKee, USN, is dated 25 January 1944. It shows the ship's starboard and port sides. Saratoga was painted in this camouflage design during her Summer 1944 overhaul. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
