Views taken on board aircraft carriers USS Oriskany (CVA-34), USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) and USS Coontz (DLG-9). Missile demonstrations including Terrier missiles and ASROC launch. Aircraft seen include McDonnell F-4 Phantoms of squadrons VF-114 and VF-21; Lockheed DP-2E Neptune from squadron VU-3 carrying Firebee drones; Grumman S-2 Trackers, Sikorksy SH-3 Sea Kings; F-8 Crusader; A-4 Skyhawk Other ships seen include destroyers USS James E. Kyes (DD-787), USS Ozbourn (DD-846), and numerous other unidentified ships. Majority of photos appear to be copies of National Archives images.
