Rifle Ammunition, USS San Diego #2010-075-027

<p>On top is a bullet with a round top encase in what is called concretion. Concretion is mixture of sand, sediment, and red corrosion product adhered together to form a hard surface. Below is three bullets with sharp tips encase in a larger concretion. The concretion is attached to a long iron rod that is broken at the end.</p>
