<p>Obverse Side: Hallmark on the reverse side with two crossing hammers within a circle and the words “Wilcox Silver Plate Co.” around the outside of the circle. Below the circle are the numbers “01188” and the words “Silver Soldered”.</p>

Description: This silver plated serving platter was recovered from a WWI era Armored Cruiser, USS San Diego (ACR-6). The hallmark on the reverse side denotes that the serving plate was made at the Wilicox Silver Plate Company located in Meriden, CT from 1867 to 1961.
