Caption: This photograph of the U.S.S. LITTLE comes from the diary of Captain Joseph K. Taussig, who served as her commanding officer in May of 1918 when she sailed to Europe as part of a convoy. During the ensuing tour in Europe, she escorted ships in to the coast of France.
