A Weird and Curious Sight

Photograph taken from the window of U.S.S. Melville showing a gathering of ships
Title: A Weird and Curious Sight
Caption: Capt. Joel R. Poinsett Pringle, based on the U.S. Destroyer Melville, took this photograph after glancing out his port window. The photo depicts an alignment of the HMS Bish Price, 2 destoryers, 2 tugs, and 5 subchasers based at Queenstown, Ireland. Pringle considered the perfect arrangement of the vessels by size as "a weird and curious sight."
