(YW-58: capacity 75,000 gallons)

The unnamed non-self-propelled water barge YW-58 was laid down on 9 May 1941 at Cavite, Philippine Islands, by the Cavite Navy Yard; launched on 2 August 1941; and completed on 29 August 1941. It was accepted for service that same day, to be assigned to the Naval Station at Guam.

The Japanese invasion of Guam on 10 December 1941 and the ensuing occupation of the island prompted the Navy to consider YW-58 as lost, and it was accordingly stricken from the Navy List on 24 July 1942.
