York (CL-1)

An industrial city, the seat of government of the county of the same name, in southern Pennsylvania, some 23 miles south of Harrisburg.
Chester (CL-1) (q.v.) was renamed York on 10 July 1928 to free the name Chester for the heavy cruiser CA-27.
