LST-420
LST-420 was laid down on 6 November 1942 at Baltimore, Md., by the Bethlehem Fairfield Co.; launched on 5 December 1942; and transferred to the United Kingdom and commissioned on 15 February 1943. LST-420 saw no active service in the United States Navy. She was sunk on 28 November 1944 while in Royal Navy service. LST-420 was struck from the Navy list on 2 June 1945.
