LST-414 was laid down on 18 October 1942 at Baltimore, Md., bv the Bethlehem Fairfield Co.; launched on 21 November 1942; and transferred to the United Kingdom and commissioned on 19 January 1943. LST-414 saw no active service in the United States Navy. She was lost in action in August 1943 and struck from the Navy list on 24 November 1943.
