Arrowhead (MV HOS)

2009–

The first U.S. Navy ship to carry this name. 

(MV HOS; displacement 2,428; length 250'; beam 54'; draft 14'; speed 14 knots; complement 11)

Arrowhead was built in 2009 at Jennings, La., by Leevec Industries, for Hornbeck Offshore, and was delivered on 14 October 2009. Chartered by the Military Sealift Command, the vessel is contractor operated.

In 2014 Arrowhead provided escort support services for the Navy’s submarine force.
