Caption: View of her bow, looking aft, taken by Ron Strong while diving on her wreck off Rota, Marianas, Spring 1978. She had been sunk by USS WHITE PLAINS (CVE-66) aircraft on 23 June 1944, and now rests in about 95 feet of water some 500 yards offshore. Note: A sketch of the ship's wreck is filed with this image.
