Photographed early in her career, before her 1908-1909 refit that reduced her Barkentine Rig to Brigantine Standard. This ship was interned in the United States on November 8, 1914 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was seized by the U.S.A. on April 6, 1917 and named SCHURZ on June 9 for service as a patrol vessel. She was sunk in a collision in 1918.
