Caption: Owned by Commodore Stephen Decatur. It was presented to him by the U.S. Congress for burning the frigate PHILADELPHIA, under an act approved 27 November 1804. It was made by Soridine, Ferit Watson, Strand, and has a 29" blade. There are no inscriptions.
